This mixed-effects design treats the measurements from each subject as repeating actions, considering the fact that measurements from the same subject are associated. Compound symmetry variance-covariance framework was used to determine the error difference and covariance among a couple of several weeks for each subject to concern for correlations within subjects. Orthogonal contrasts are used in the combined design to assess the change of BMI eventually.
